Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan actor who hails from Bahrain's Manama was born into the multicultural home of a family. Jacqueline Fernandez's mom Kim and father Elroy were both born in Malaysia. There are two brothers younger than her and a older sister. She was raised and born in Bahrain. The family of her parents been to the country in the 1980s because of civil unrest that occurred in Sri Lanka. She was given a scholarship to study at in the University of Sydney in Sydney Australia, after completing her education in Bahrain. With a love of different cultures and languages, she was a part of the Berlitz school of languages, where she learned to speak Spanish as well as improve her French and Arabic. In 2006, she won the Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Universe 2006 in March 2006, and was also a contestant in Miss Universe 2006. In the wake of being crowned Miss Sri Lanka in 2006 Padukone started her career as a TV host. She was the host of the program Lanka Business Report which focused on Sri Lankan Business. Padukone (the child of badminton players Prakash Padukone) was born and grew up in Bangalore. As a teenager, she played badminton in National level competitions. She later resigned her profession in sports to pursue a career as a model. Padukone was born in Mangalore, India. Her mother tongue Konkani is her origin. Padukone is located situated in Kundapura Taluk located in Udupi in Karnataka State in India is where her family is derived from. Prakash Padukone was a badminton legend, who retired in the late 1980s. The mother of her daughter, who worked for a travel agency also comes from this area.
